CSI Employees Give Back to the Community San Diego, California, December, 2006 -- It was a time for giving, and thanks to CSI Financial Services - a sponsor of Toys for Tots - many underprivileged children in the San Diego area received gifts for Christmas. "We were very happy to participate in this wonderful program," says Mitch Patridge, CEO of CSI Financial Services. Christmas is a time of giving and sharing with others. Toys for Tots is a great way to spread the holiday cheer and help a child who may not otherwise have much of a Christmas." Maridia Harrington, Office Manager and Coordinator of the CSI program, recalled that the Toys for Tots receiving area was filled to the brim with gifts. "A Camp Pendleton Marine arrived and it took nine of us to help him carry the gifts to the truck." "The program also gave our 17 employees an opportunity to take a break from their busy schedules to focus on children who are less privileged, "she says. "We partnered up and bought gifts for 12-18 year olds, who are often overlooked. The gifts placed under our Christmas tree included books, games, skateboards, backpacks, footballs, clothing and much more. This is a nice reminder of our good fortune and how we can have an impact on people less fortunate." "Every child deserves to be happy at this time of year. Our goal was simple: help put a smile on the faces of many deserving children," says Patridge. "It was also a way to extend the mission of our company, which is to create options for an underserved population of our nation, the country's more than 40 million people with no health insurance or inadequate insurance." Toys for Tots is a nationwide program that gives out hundreds of thousands of toys to children. Toys for Tots depends upon donations from the people that live within each city where toys are collected. These toys are then given out about two weeks prior to Christmas.
